We designed the overall identity for Eclectic, a restaurant in Paris. The restaurant is located in the 15th arrondissement, quartier Beaugrenelle, an area characterized by a diverse mix of architecture and brutalist concrete buildings from the 60's. Our concept is based on two contrasting visual concepts that were prominent in the 60's: the geometric and the fluid, the hard and the soft. Accordingly our design features a rigid grid of straight lines whereby occasionally those lines change into random fluid shapes.
